Healthy oat cookies


Ingredients for 12 cookies:

2 cups oatmeal

1 cup rice flour

1 cup cooked millet

1 cup coconut

1 cup ground almonds

1 cup raisins

2 tablespoons sesame seeds

1/2 cup oil

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup raw cane sugar

1 pinch salt

1 pinch baking powder

2 teaspoons Cinnamon powder

1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon ground clove

Mix well all the dry ingredients. Add the oil, mix. Add the milk , mix and shape into round shapes.

Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes, at 180°

  1. variation for this recipe: instead of raw sugar, I put 2 tablespoons of agave syrup. should probably have put 4 to have a sweeter taste (tbtn: to be tried next). Also, as I only had olive oil at home, I replace the oil by 1/2 cup of almond paste.

  3. ils étaient trop bons, ces cookies! (merci à mon chéri pour la tradcution…) J’en ai fait ce weekend et on a adoré. En plus ils sont bons pour la santé!
